Lock mechanism for ps 11 8r

I believe this is a Anderson 200 series sliding door, the lock mechanism works from the inside but not with the key, the aluminum sleeve has two Paul's on it that broke off. It does work from the inside.

Hello! This looks like an Andersen key lock for a patio glass door. You can use either our 82-316 (left) or 82-317 (right) depending on what side you need. Handing is determined from outside looking in and describes the operating panel.

The lock mechanism is on the right side of the sliding glass door.

It's not so much about what side of the door the lock is, but what side the door is in the frame.

Think of it this way: stand outside your house and look in at the door. Specifically take note of the door that actually opens and closes. Is it to the right or left? If it's on the right, you want the 82-317. If it's on the left, you want the 82-316.
