Lock nut backed out of awning crank

Quick Learner from Tampa FL

I have beigh Peachtree awning windows 14" and 20" X 33" wide in some rooms of my house. The lock nut has backed out on three of the cranks. Is ther a tool which allows you to reset the nut or is replacement the only option? Did you supply the operator to Peachtree or will yours work as a replacement?

Thanks for posting, Bob. If the nut inside the operator has come out, then it is probably stripped. You will have to replace the whole operator.

I recommend that you look at either our 39-015 and see if this is a good match for your current hardware.
