Lock will not close all the way, looking to replace but can

I'm afraid your post got cut off, but I think I follow. Your mortise lock no longer works and you need a new one. Based on your photo, I would start by looking at our 82-239. This appears to be our closest match, though I would recommend going over our dimensions just to be sure.
