Lock with key so we can enter from the outside

Hi, I am looking for a door handle with locks on the inside (like we have now) and with a key option so we can enter the door from the outside even if it is locked for our sliding door.

We may be able to help, but it might take some creativity. Your handle is unique in that it has a thumb lever mounted above the handle, instead of in the middle of the base plate. Otherwise, it looks like you have a pretty standard mortise lock, perhaps even our 82-226.

We have a key lock that can interact with this mortise, but I'm not sure how well it will install on your current handle's plate. It's our 82-315. Look at the video below and let me know if you'd be able to make the necessary adaptions to your handle in order to get this working.
