Locking Tab

Professional from Astoria, Oregon

Good Day,

This part came out of an old aluminum frame window with the tilt in feature to remove the sash for cleaning. These tabs sit in a groove at the top of the window and there is typically a spring that forces these tabs outward to keep the sash in place. We are needing a price and availability on these and the spring as well.

Thank you,

Jeff

Hello,

It seems like the part shown in your photo may be part of a tilt latch. If so, we would need to see an undamaged latch, written-out dimensions, as well as a photo of where it installs to help us narrow down your replacement options. Thank you!

The photo is from a basically undamaged latch. The only difference is that there is a small pin missing that catches the base of the spring (Photo 5 just behind the lip) Here are the views.

Thank you,

Thanks for getting back to us with the additional information we requested. Unfortunately, we do not carry a suitable replacement for the side-mounted latch shown in your photos. I'm sorry that we won't be able to assist with this repair but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
