Locking mechanism

A home owner from Moline,Illinois says:
My sliding glass door purchased in 2007 stopped locking. I tried to take handle and lock apart and locking part fell down inside door. I found a replacement handle that will work but the lock part itself does not fit the slot in the door. The only model numbers etc from the door are in one of the photos I uploaded. Do you have anything that will work? We thought your model 82-244 might but it's too long

If your mortise fell into the door, then odds are you need the 82-218. Look it over and let me know what you think. The video below may also be of some help.
