Locking mechanism

Seems the internal spring that pushes the hook out is broken. Outside keyed handle and inside thumb lever to lock. 25 years old.

Thanks for reaching out! This mortise lock is a match for either the 82-218 or the 82-243 (stainless steel) Mortise Locks. While I'm confident this will work for the repair, be sure to carefully look over the specifications and compare them.

They share the same dimensions which can be viewed on the website.
