Locking mechanism inquiry

I'm seeking a new locking mechanism.I have purchased part 82-400 but it isn't fitting correctly to my door. please review the example of my existing locking mechanism that I need a replacement for.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a suitable replacement for this style of mortise lock. I would recommend reaching out to the door manufacturer directly if you haven't already. You can also find our return policy here if you'd like to send back the 82-400.
