Locking patio door handle with key locki

Question

This is the closest thing that I can find to my sliding glass door handle on our door. We want to change the handle and the lock to have a key access from the outside. my problem is the door is inch and 3/16 thick and it will not let the lock with the key lock and unlock the door because the locks it is too short

We do carry the 82-002WK with 6-5/8" installation holes that use the 88-009 and 88-002 replacement pulls but it is only designed to accommodate doors up to 1-1/8" thick. You could reuse your original installation screws to install the handle but the kep lock spindle may not be long enough as you mentioned in your post. I'm sorry that we won't be able to offer a key lock option to accommodate your door thickness but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
