Locking piece for glass for door. One of them is broken as you can see in the picture. I need a replacement piece as soon as possible.

Thanks for writing in! There is a chance we may be able to supply you with a replacement for the slide latch you are searching for but I cannot make any guarantees. Storm door hardware is becoming increasingly hard to find replacements for since more and more companies have strayed away from using them.

I'll need to see a photo of your latches removed from the storm window to determine the best replacement recommendation. Take a look at the video tutorial for an idea on how to remove them.

This is a glass piece not a screen. If I do this the glass will shatter.

Perhaps this video might be of better use. In this demonstration, we use a storm window with glass. It will take gentle force and patience to complete this project.

These videos are the best methods for removal and installation. If you are unsure, I would suggest visiting a local window repair shop to see if they can assist.

Here are the pictures of the broken latch. Which one do I need to buy?

Hello,

My apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience. I had to loop one of our senior experts in on this so that we can provide you with the best options. We do not have an exact replacement match for your storm window latches but there are a few options that could potentially work for your repairs. Strom window hardware is becoming increasingly harder to find, since more and more companies are phasing them out.

That said, take a look at the suggested latches listed from the website to see if you could use any of these in your storm sash.

The 91-026 left hand and 91-027 right hand latches have a similar "nose" like yours.  There are also two other types; the 91-006 and the 91-142 pairs. These look like they would fit your storm sash lift rail, but you would need to adapt the locking nose to fit the "stops" in the main frame of the door.

See which of these you think would be the best fit for your repairs.
