Lock/unlock mechanism broken

Can't find any manufacturer name on door, but the mechanism that you turn to lock and unlock the door is broken inside. It's connected to a lever inside with a little piece of plastic and the plastic is broken

Hello,

I suspect that you may be able to use the 82-030 handle set but I would like to see a photo of the mortise lock in the center of the door, as well as the back of the inside handle uninstalled so that the spindle that engages with the mortise lock is visible, to confirm. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us. Your photos indicate that you can use our 82-030 since the top-mounted thumb lever shown in your photos is attached to an offset locking bar that engages with the mortise at the center of the handle set. Our 82-030 works the same way but its thumb lever is centered already. It doesn't need the additional, and redundant, arm mechanism.

With that being said, you are still welcome to get back to us with a photo of the mortise lock in the center of the door to confirm that our handle set would be compatible with that part as well.

Great, your mortise lock looks like it will be compatible with the 82-030. Please let us know if you need anything else.
