The Length of the metal is 23 5/8 and the overall length is 25" from end to end and as the picture shows it is stamped 23DS45.

Thanks for writing in! The balances you are searching for are an Extended-Travel Channel Balance. These will need to be a custom made assembly.

To make the most accurate recommendation, I'll need to see a photo of the hook that should be installed to the bottom shoe. These balances typically have them, so if your balances does not, you'll need to find an undamaged balance. It is important to confirm which clip/hook your balances have as they are important for the installation of the balance.
