Looking for Window Limiting Lock. Help?

Landlord from Leavenworth, Wash
My Milgard sliding windows have two small spring loaded window stops that are above the window and prevent full travel when in the out position. someone has broken and removed the entire stops. What are these locks called and where can I purchase new ones?

What you are describing to us could be a number of things. The best way for us to be able to assist you in locating some replacements, would be to go to another window where these parts are presently installed and upload some photos for us to see. If you could also provide measurements, that would be a great help.

This little part lays flat when not in use and comes out about 3/8 of an inch when extended. It is two inches long.

Thanks for getting back to us. We know these parts as "vent locks" or "vent latches." We don't have your exact type, but review our 26-338. This may be the best match we have available.
