Looking for a Sliding Door Handle Replacement

Quick Learner from Lancaster, PA
The handle of my sliding glass door recently broke and I am having a terrible time finding a replacement because there is no brand name anywhere on the handle, just a "Made in New Zealand" stamp (see last photo). This evening, I came across your website and think I might have found a match. I have attached photos of the door width, the potential match, the broken handle and the inner door mechanism in that order. The only potential problem is that my door is 2 inches thick (see first photo) which is thicker than the 1 and 3/8 of an inch thickness that is stated as the maximum thickness in the description of the 82-080, potential match.

Could you please help me find the correct match?

I agree, our 82-080 looks like a great match. More specifically, you might want to consider our 82-081 keyed set, since yours also looks keyed.

As for the door thickness, that could be an issue. Would it be possible to use your old screws and thumb lever? If so, that would pretty much be all you need to get the 82-081 working in your door.

If your thumb lever is broken, however, let me know. We can try to think of something else.

We might be able to use the old screws. I will have to look and see. Would that be the only issue in trying to install this on a 2in door?

Thank you for your time

The thumb lever would be the other important factor. If your old thumb lever is undamaged, you would have to reuse it. I don't know if the thumb lever that comes with our 82-081 will work for your door thickness.
