Looking for a channel balancer with 15-029 shoe

Home Owner from Florida
I have ordered several S380 - 30" channel balance, some 2940's and some 2950's. All have worked well. I have one set of windows left to repair which seem to look like S380 but they appear to have 15-029 shoes versus 15-005 and they are stamped 2906. They also seem to have different mechanisms and springs than the others. The shoe is 7/8" versus 1". Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks for posting. Yes, this does look like our 15-029 7/8" shoe. We can custom make these balances for you, but that stamp option is certainly a little unusual. Can you give us the exact weight of your window sash? We can use that precise weight to determine the stamp option you need. Thanks.

Good morning, I have weighed the sash and it is 37.5 lbs. Based on your chart that looks like a 2965.

How do I go about requesting the balances with the modified shoes? I need 6 of the 30" 2965 with 15-029 shoe. I also need 2 more of the standard 2940 30" channel balances as well.

Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me with that sash weight, James. Yes, our stamp option of 2965 looks to be the correct choice. I am sending you an email with a custom link to order (6) 30" balances, stamped 2965, and with our 19-005 Top and 15-029 Bottom attached. Let me know if you have any other questions. For the standard Series, it sounds like you need either our S380-30 or S385-30. You can order these through the balance shop pages on our website. Let me know if you have any other questions.
