Hello! By interior piece, are you referring to the trim stop that you're meant to unscrew in order to remove the jamb? If so, not all windows in your style have these. Your case is a little bit more old fashioned. You will need to remove the sash first and then pull the jambs out by hand. There isn't really a trick to this, the sash just tilts in and pulls out. Once it's removed, the jambs should be free to remove; they aren't screwed in or anything, they're held in place with the sash pressing against them. Hopefully that makes sense. |
