Looking for replacement

We may be able to supply this balance, but the model you're showing me here is too damaged to ID. The attachment at the end of the cord, which attaches to the sash, is missing. That is a vital component and we cannot make a recommendation without it.

Your next step should be to take an undamaged balance out of the window and show us clear photos of that attachment, as well as the top end so that we can have a better idea of how it installs. I can then check our stock for a potential match.

That's a huge help, thank you! Our S770-28 appears to be a dead ringer for this assembly. This is a 28" long metal channel and has the same top and bottom fittings as your original.

My only concern is the stamp. Ours uses a different rating system compared to your original. My recommendation is to weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the chart we show on the S770-28 store page. That will tell you exactly which stamp option to select.

We also have the 26-200 screw plug, which also appears to be a piece you need to screw the balance to the window track. This is sold separately.
