Landlord from Rochester, MN
Broken Ply Gem casement window latch. Windows were installed in 2015.

Unsure of model number of window, but perhaps can be determined from photo of sticker on windows.

Hello,

Thanks for posting! There is a chance we can supply you with a replacement for your PlyGem casement window lock but I'll need to see a photo of it removed from the window. I am looking to see the inner-workings of the lock and how it interacts with the other hardware to lock the window. You'll also need to have it removed to compare the dimensions.

Take a look at the video tutorial below for an idea on how to remove this casement lock.

Hi Jasmine-

Here are some pictures of the broken latch (after removal). The dimensions can be determined from the ruler in the photos. Hopefully you can source the part.

Thanks.

Hi Bob,

Your casement window lock looks like it can be replaced with our 38-095 Maxim Multi-Point Lock, used along with the 38-158 Roto Locking Handle Plate. I'm sorry to say I would not be able to confirm the dimensions from the photos of the ruler. You'll need to compare your dimensions with those shown on the diagram below.

If they are not a match, I'll need to know your exact dimensions, written out.
