Looking for replacement part-bottom door guide

Hi, my house was built in 1980 and is full of metal bifold doors. Most are still in very good condition, but a couple are giving me trouble. I am looking for replacement guides for the bottom guide that moves, not the stationary pivot. The base that glides in the track is metal, not plastic. When I find the right one, I plan to buy extras! Thank you.

Sounds like you're looking for a new pin cap. We may have what you need. I recommend looking through our complete selection of pin caps here.

Thank you, Tom. The pieces shown on the pin cap page are plastic and the ones on the bottom of my doors are metal. Are there metal ones available or do the plastic ones replace the metal ones?

Can you confirm that yours is metal? Yours looks plastic, just based on that photo you're showing me. I actually don't know of any bifold door that has metal caps. That's not something I've ever seen before.

Tom, I was finally able to get the door off the track and the bottom cap is plastic!
Thank you,

Gotcha. In that case, I would give the section I linked you to previously another look. You will need to compare the dimensions of your old cap to those we sell to determine the best part.
