Hello,

This is an older type of top sash guide but I believe our 18-171 would still work. Past customers have used this by cutting the top section down to match the original guide. It goes under the sash top rail, so the cut won't show from the outside. Take a look and see what you think.

Thanks for your reply. Yes 18-171 does seem to have same dimensions as the one I have. Except for the top part which you mentioned need to be cut. How do you recommend should I cut the top part?

I would recommend using a hack saw to cut down the top of the 18-171 and, since it's under the sash frame, it won't show.
