Looking for replacement shoes

Home Owner from Atlanta
Hey,

I'm in a 2003 build and we have single hung windows that tilt inward for cleaning. The plastic on the shoes is getting brittle, and a few have broken. The channels are 1-1/8" wide, and the shoe has a metal tooth that seems to help it grip the channel. The rest of the parts seem to be fine, looking for a very strange looking shoe, or maybe a replacement shoe and sash pivot. Can seem to find any manufacturer codes on the windows or the balance. Thank you!

Hello, thank you for posting,

Your balance shoe resembles the shoe from the Series 775 channel balance. Unfortunately this part is not sold separately. The full channel balance will need to be replaced. To move forward, you will need to measure the length of the metal channel only and look for the number/letter stamped on the metal to determine the correct stamp option.

You will also need to choose if the shoe is 1" or 1-1/4" wide.

With this information, we can move forward with determining the best replacement. Thank you!

The metal portion of the channel is 35" long, and the stamping is "35", "OK", and "BSI"

The width it is 1-1/8" if you're talking about the full width of the channel that the shoe goes into, there's not anything I can find that's 1" or 1-1/4"

I remeasured according to the chart you linked and it is 1" wide, mine doesn't rest at the angle pictured so the measurement was off initially.

Thank you for the additional information.

It appears that your metal channel is stamped with 35B. Please review the S775-35 channel balance with a 35B stamp and 1" shoe. This balance can support a 16 to 22 window sash. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
