Looking for storm door handle

By storm door is 1 & 1/2 inch thick. That is the easy part. The old holes are set back 1 & 1/2 inches from edge of door. Looking for new lock

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you need. This doesn't look like any storm door I'm familiar with. It looks more like a prime door, or maybe a french door. Can you confirm? Do you have the old hardware we can look at? It will be very difficult to identify a match without the original as a reference.

Below are pictures of both sides of the handles. The inside handle is larger than normal which allows it to be further from edge

Ah, this is a huge help, thank you! I know exactly what this handle is. Now, it's not made anymore, so we can't offer the same thing, but I am confident that you can use our 40-177 as a substitute.

This should fit in the same holes and function the same way, however you may run into an issue where the new style push lever on the inside of the door won't be able to reach the keeper, or the keeper won't be able to reach the lever. If that's the case for you then you will need to shim either the keeper or handle up to meet the other, whatever the case may be. I'm afraid we no longer carry the shims necessary to do this but you should be able to find something at a local hardware store.
