They are 2 5/16" long.
They slide into the window from the side.
The old ones have a little channel that runs long ways with the latch.
I dont have the old part it was discarded and I cant take a good one out to photo because I dont know if it will break if I force it out?
I dont know the window brand. The house was built in 2002. A large number of these latches are brittle and broken on other windows. Some are missing both latches. I cant seem to find a latch in a 2 5/16" length like the picture I sent you. Only ones I've found are too long and I dont want to modify the existing holes if I dont have too.
