Thanks for reaching out to us! I am confident that we can supply you with the replacement balances you need but I'll need a few more details to confirm the best possible replacement.

To start, may I see a clearer photo of the wheels and the hook at the bottom of the balance? This is important to see to ensure we are providing your with the exact replacements you need for your window. You'll also need to confirm the depth of the bottom shoe; I suspect that it could be either 1" or 7/8". Take a look at the diagram below to confirm.

I will also need to know the exact weight of the sash these balances would be supporting. Unfortunately, we would not be able to cross-reference your 14 9 stamp with our stamp system.

Thanks Jasmine - The window sash weights 17.5 Lbs and I have attached pictures of the depth of the bottom shoe which looks to be 1 in. Also I have attached pictures of the hook/wheel assembly.

Thanks for confirming this information. I've forwarded a link with a quote for (2) of the requested balances. Based on the photo of the shoe dimensions you've provided above, the replacement will have a winged shoe slightly over 1".

Also, since you've confirmed that your sash weighs 17.5lbs, These balances will now have a 14-5 Stamp which can support a sash weighing 13 to 17.99lbs.

You'll be able to use the provided link to review the quote and place the order from your online cart.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
