Looking to put a key lock in sliding glass door

Home Owner from Illinois
Hi I want to put a key lock in my sliding glass door.  I have not taken the lock off yet, but there are no markings or part # to tell me what kind key mechanism I need.  Do I need to replace the complete unit?  This seems like a very sturdy unit so if I can keep it I'd like to.

I have questions about the felt for windows too, specifically about size.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! Your patio handle set can likely be replaced with the 82-030A Centered Keyed Handle Set. The mortise lock can be replaced with the 82-227 Mortise Lock.

You'll need to double check the dimensions to confirm that they are a match for your hardware. Be sure to double check that your handle has a centered latch position.

In regard to the wool pile weatherstripping, I'll need to know the measurement for the width of the base and the height of the pile to determine the right replacement. Please take a look at our video tutorial tagged below.

Feel free to reach out with any additional questions if I haven't addressed the questions you have.
