Looking to replace

Inside casing of where you insert the arm crank is stripped. So, my understanding is I need to replace the whole assembly unit. The name on the arm crank says Weathervane, and the number on one of the arms is 30905 (Truth).

This might work, but curious on how to attach the arm extension to the bracket that is on the window?
This seems a bit different than what the 39-171/172 have.
I am not sure even how to disengage the one I have as it appears locked in.

There should be a detach clip at the end of your link arm that will allow you to disconnect it from the sash. Take a look at the video below. This is for a different operator but it shows you how to disconnect the detach clip starting at 0:39 in the video. Let me know if this helps.
