Looking to swap in a lock with key access from the outside

Quick Learner from Sandy, OR
The present lock seems to have two places where it engages - at the handle, with two slots, and up above around head level, there with one slot. Is there something we can make work? Thanks!!

Take a look at our 82-081 Handle Set. This has a keyed outside pull. So long as the 4-15/16" hole spacing matches your old handle set, I believe this could work for you. See what you think.

Looks good! My hole spacing is also 4 15/16". So this will engage with both the upper and lower hammers inside the closing edge of the door?

thx:)

Hey Stephen. There's a keyway at the center of that mortise lock that controls both latches. So yes, the key for the 82-081 will control both latches, the same way the thumb lever on the inside pull does. Let me know if you need anything else.
