Hi there, Ann.

Thanks for reaching out to us. The 26-014 lower sash latch and 26-015 upper sash latch come to mind. For the spring and spring retainer, see the 26-016 and 26-017 which are sold separately. Have a look at the specifications for these parts and see how they compare with yours.

Thank you. Have ordered for all windows, since they are old and brittle now. And the spring and retainer clip for each ( which i have also ordered) .
But the diagram on line showing the placement of the spring and clip is confusing me. Can u give me some worded details on how they work all together with the latch.

Hi Ann,

To assemble these latches, you would need to hook the back of the spring with the back end of the 26-017 retainer clip. Next, place the spring into the bottom cut out in the bottom of the slide latch. As you push the slide latch into the top header of the window sash you will see a small notch in the frame. That is where the front hook of the retainer hooks onto.

Lastly, with the spring, clip and the slide latch in place, you then clip the 26-001 lever release into the cut out of the frame and into the hole in the tilt latch.

Take note you will need to remove the top header of the window sash from the frame in order to accomplish this.

I hope this helps!
