MI SLIDING PATIO DOOR # 910/3910 sgd FIXED PANEL REMOVAL

Hi Vic from South Jersey

I need to remove the fixed panel on a slider pation door, the label on the glass says Guardian but they say thats only the glass co. MI windows supplied the door on new consrtuction in 2013, the door was made @ 2010. I need to remove the fixed panel but cannot find any access to the fixation screws, we are replacin an A/C condenser and need a wide opening.

Please help, cannot find a phone contact for MI doors in York Pa.

Thanks for reaching out to us. From what I understand from MI, the Series 910 is a vinyl patio door and the stationary door is not removable. Only the glass can be removed from the frame. This can be very complicated, so extra caution should be taken. I would definitely recommend trying to get professional help for this project.
