MILGARD casement windows

Question

On the left side , there is a metal piece missing. On the right side with red ink, I circled the metal strip that is needed .
Please help me to identify this long thin strip.

Thanks for reaching out to us! The metal piece you are missing is the track from your casement hinge. This part allows the slider to glide back and forth in the track when cranking the window open and close. Since this is missing, you'll need to replace the entire hinge to replace it.

Start with reviewing and comparing the dimensions from the 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set. There is a likelihood that it might not be an exact match, so you'll probably need to replace both the top and bottom hinge at the same time; these can be used for the left and right side of the window. Keep in mind, you may be required to drill new holes if the installation hole measurements do not match up.

If the sill track measurement is longer than 10", please let me know your exact length and I'll be happy to look for a closer replacement match.
