The measurement between centers of the top holes on my piece is 2.5".
From the top down on mine are two parallel pieces showing on the back part of the frame.
The distance between centers of the top and bottom holes is 2 3/8".
So close, but no cigar!
Any other possibilities? (Appreciate your help.)

I don't think both top holes are used to install, so that difference shouldn't matter much. Please confirm just in case. As for the distance between the top and the bottom hole, I would double check your measurement. 2-3/8" is only 1/32" off from 2-11/32", which is what ours measures. I can't imagine the manufacturer would make two different parts with only a 1/32" difference.
