Hello! I'm not sure what you need. We'd have to see a photo of the original in order to confirm a match. You said it looks like our 82-229, but without more of a reference to go off of I can't really judge if our part, or anything else, could work. Is there any reason why you don't think the 82-229 is the right part for the job?

I replied to email with a couple of pictures on lock attached but not sure received? my lockset;looks just like the picture of the 82-229 but dimensions are different. Mine is total length of 5.75" and 1" wide at surface edge.

I'm a little confused. Our 82-229 is also 5.75" tall and 1" wide. Can you confirm those are your measurements?
