MW vinyl tilt window, spiral balances.

Question

I have 5 MW bottom tilt windows, house built in 1998, that need new spiral balances. The length of the balance top to bottom is 47.5" and the white cover over the coil is 31". I understand there is a tool to help install the balances and I would like that also.

For tilt window spiral balances, you could either have the Series 900 with a 3/8" diameter tube or the Series 600 with a 5/8" tube. Please measure the diameter of your original to confirm the best fit! Also refer the the colored tip to choose the correct option. If the color is not matching up, you will need to weigh the window sash and compare to the strength chart on the product page to choose the correct colored tip option.
