Maax shower door hinge is stripped

Question

I purchased an open box Maax shower from Menards and had it installed. Unfortunately, the plumber was unable to install the second screw on the top hinge of the shower door as he said the unit (hinge) was "stripped". Before I order this part I want to make sure it is the right one. The item number is A1.

The serial number is: Neo-Angle shower: 1300004081681.

Our 10-081 hinge kit does look similar to the one on your shower door. I would suggest replacing them in sets. With that being said, did you try to re-tap the threads in the hinge and replace the screw? You could take it to a hardware store in your area to see if they can help tap it and supply you with a new screw.
