Marin - Replacement Window Balance

Question

Hello Swisco,
Please provide your recommendation on which window balance I need.
The metal channel is about 28 15/16” long, and 9/16” wide. It looks like 28D USB is stamped on the back. I’ve attached some photos, unfortunately I don’t have any pictures with the balance installed. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Hi there Tom.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Your balance looks like it may be a match for the S380, S385, or S378. The best match will depend on the depth of the bottom shoe, as shown below. However, please note that the 29" length would be the best we can offer, though we can't promise a direct fit.

You may be able to use the 2840 stamp based on your old 28D stamp, but you can always weigh the window sash to confirm it falls within the 23 to 28-pound weight range.
