Hello,
I have a boat built in 2008 that is starting to have various issues such as these window latches that are failing. Specifically, the backing plate is corroding, causing the plate itself to break or the screw receptacles to break off from the plate. What's pictured on the right is the broken plate. Next is a screw that goes through the window latch and through the glass to the backing plate. The screw is showing the receptacle that broke off the backing plate. The boat was built in China and they lost all their records to a hurricane. The part itself doesn't seem to have any manufacturing information on it. Hopefully it's something common for the marine or rv industry. I'm more interested in any type of functional replacement than trying to get an exact match. Any insights or assistance will be greatly appreciated. The left window in the boat picture shows how the latches are installed. The window is showing two of these one on each piece of sliding glass. I'll need about a dozen of these. Cheers

Thanks for writing in.
Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a replacement for the Marine window latch you have pictured. Your best bet would be to contact a local hardware store, preferably one that might specialize in hardware for boats.
I'm sorry we couldn't be of more help!
