Markings on hardware

I couldn't get any good pictures of my spiral balance.
It does measure 29" and is 3/8" in diameter.
It has IRB 3 stamped on the balance. It does not have any type of bushing or fitting
at the end of the tube as shown in your picture.
Would I be correct in ordering this item as described?

Hi Dennis. A picture of the spiral balance's tip would be best, just to confirm. If it's a tilt window spiral balance and you're absolutely certain the outer tube diameter is 3/8", then you might need the S900-29. You'd need to obtain the exact window sash weight to determine what Color Tip option to select.

Hey Dennis. If this Spiral Balance has an outer tube 3/8" in diameter and 29" in length, then yes, the S900-29 looks right to me. Now, as you noted, there's no color bearing visible here. In this case I'd obtain the exact weight of the window sash like I mentioned. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each color tip option on the shop page.
