"Marks" mortise lockset replacement

Question

Hi, I have a "Marks" mortise lockset latch that froze in the locked position. I couldn't find anything in the Marks literature that matched. Your model 40-194 has the exact same dimensions and lock mechanism shape. Do you think this will work? There is no manufacturers name on the door. Thanks

I can't say for sure. I've never heard of Marks. If the style and dimensions are identical I see no reason why it wouldn't, though.
