To identify the compatible internal mortise lock, I'll need to see a photo of it as well. There are several different mortise locks compatible with this handle set, and the photo will help to narrow down the right replacement.

I did want to mention, we typically see this type of damage to the handle set when an extensive amount of force is applied to open and close the door. This could mean that the patio door roller and/or the track need be either cleaned or replaced. When not addressed, we often see handles break, in the same way, in about a year or so.

Those two measurements are pretty close to one another. Therefore, I believe the 82-030 will be a fit for you door.

Thanks for the photos. The you have here appears to be the 82-243 Stainless Steel Mortise Lock. To confirm that this is the right replacement, be sure to look over the dimensions and compare them.

This lock is compatible with the 82-030 Sliding Patio Door Handle Set.
