Marvin casement window crank broken

Quick Learner from Boston, MA

The folding crank broke where it folds. The short part is still attached to the shaft above, the longer detached handle is below. Is there a replacement crank I can simply swap in?

Thanks

Hi Tom, thank you for posting,

To further review, are you able to remove the original handle and cover to expose the base of the operator? Seeing a clear image of the base will help us determine if we can provide a suitable replacement option. Thank you!

Some info: window installed in 2008. The cover is cover 5 3/8", handle 3 7/8". Here's a picture of the "operator", I think. I haven't tried to remove handle & cover yet.

All I need is something that turns the shaft. I don't mind if it's not a perfect match if it works. Thanks, Tom

I'm afraid this information doesn't help at this stage. As stated in my previous response, I need you to remove the original handle and cover and show me the base of the operator without them. That will allow us to garner whether or not we sell an alternative style that will work for this application.

To clarify, Marvin has proprietary rights to many of their products and won't allow us to sell. There is a chance we can't help, but the only way I'll know is to see the operator without the cover. Showing me that is your next step.
