Metal option for 55-182

Question

I have some metal muntin that appear to be held in place by these plastic clips.  I can't remove the muntin for window cleaning without snapping off the clips.  Is there a trick to using them, or is there a sturdier option for this clip? Thank you

We'd like to start off by letting you know there is no metal option for our 55-182 grid clip. That being said, there is not a real trick or special way to remove the window grids without these nylon clips. The drawback to these nylon clips are they need to be made flexible so you can slightly bend them to remove the grids. Over an amount of time, you will notice the clips get brittle and eventually needing to be replaced.
