I am looking for the aluminum pivot for a double hung Certainteed window. I am not sure exactly when the window was made but the house it is in was built 11 years ago.
The part measures 2.5 x 1 inch not including the extended pivot which is slightly more than 3/4 inch. It is basically a right angle piece of aluminum with a peg coming out of the right angle. It is screwed onto the window by two screws. One screw from the bottom and one from the pivot side.

Good afternoon, and thank you for posting on our Discussion Board. Please take a look at our 26-353 and 26-175 CertainTeed Pivot bars. Do you think either of these could work for you? If not, could you please upload a few pictures of your existing pivot bars for us to see? Make sure that the pivot bar is removed from the window before you take your pictures. We will also need to know its dimensions.

This is the pivot bar from my window. The dimensions are 3 1/8" long and 5/16" wide. Do you have the pivot bar from this window?
Let me know.
Thanks.

Thank you. Please take a look at our 26-241 pivot bar and compare it to your existing hardware. Could this be used as a substitute? Let me know!
