Miami awning window operator replacement

A home owner from 19148 says:
Hello -

The crank on our Miami awning window broke (it fell out and also the gears were stripped so it no longer turned inside). We are having trouble finding a proper replacement, mainly because the crank was center-mounted. Using a crank with a bottom mount won't work because there is no clearance below the window (as shown in picture). Do they make center mount awning operators anymore? Or would a jalousie window operator work in this situation instead? Thanks!

Thank you for posting! Please take a look at our 39-054 operator. Do you think you might be able to use these as a substitute? It's not quite as heavy-duty as your own and the installation holes might be off a little, but I believe that they are the closest that we have. Unfortunately, we no longer carry the opposite-handed version of this operator. Please compare to your own hardware and let me know what you think.
