Milestone window balance cap

Question

My window says it is a milestone single hung series 1000 - w/n 04789. The cap that seems to hold the balance channel in the window broke. The balance channel popped out. Is there a special name for the cap that I can search for to find a replacement piece?

Hello Craig. The cap you are referring to is called a top sash guide. In order for us to properly identify a match for you, we will need to see some photos of it removed from the window. We need to see it from a front and side angle, almost like a "mugshot" if you will. In addition, you will need to also provide to us some measurements and dimensions.
