Milgard Balance Identification

Hello,
I have a milgard single hung vinyl window. It has been very difficult to open and close lately, and today when I opened it this balance fell out. The string is broken, and the spring has come out of the channel. The printed text on it reads 26 5 HV CMC 1. The metal part is 27 inches long, and I think the width is 1/2 inch. Can you recommend a replacement?

Thanks for reaching out! This window balance is a match for either the S380-27 or the S385-27. To determine which of these is the correct replacement match, confirm the the depth of the shoe.

Our 2650 stamp should work in place of the one your 26 5 stamp. A pair of these will support a sash weighing 26 to 30lbs.
