Milgard Balancer replacements

A home owner from Sacramento, CA says:

I have a Milgard aluminum window. The balancer marking says 32 3 HJ Caldwell on it.

The metal portion of the balancer is 33 inches and 1/2 inch in width.

Glass in window is 19-1/4 X 33 and outside frame of window is 35-3/4 X 22

Like to replace both balancers, all attachments and purchase the rivet tool if you could provide the part numbers for all of those items would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dan

We can replace these balances, but that stamp code only tells us the spring calibration. To know what kind of balance you need, please show pictures of the nylon fittings or attachments on either end of the balance. We'll do our best to narrow this down from there. Note that all of our balances come with the fittings already attached, so that the balance is ready-to-install out of the box.

Attached are pictures of the balancers --fullsize with close-up of both ends.

Hey Dan, thanks for the pictures. This appears to be either an S380-33 or S385-33. The only difference between these two balance Series is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or what can be thought of as 'the heel-to-toe' measurement. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. In either case you will need a stamp option of 3230.
