Thanks for posting. This balance actually has to be custom made due to its unique design. We'd be happy to do this for you, but we need to see the metal hook or clip at the end of the cord that comes out of the bottom nylon shoe. Can you show us a clear picture of that clip or hook? From there, we should be able to identify this for you. Many thanks. |

I am afraid that's not the clip I'm looking for. This clip will be at the end of that nylon cord that comes out of the shoe. It might resemble our 62-108, or maybe our 62-106. If it's missing from this balance, you'll need to check an undamaged one, either from the same window or an identical one in the house. I am afraid these balances can only be replaced by exact replacements. Their configuration, with the cord coming out of the shoe and their unique length, makes them incompatible with our standard balances. People have tried, and the standard balances tend to break quite quickly. Replacing exactly what you have is always the best course of action. |

Yes Brian, that's perfect, thanks. I just sent you an email with a custom link to order (2) of these balances. Let me know if you have any questions prior to ordering. Many thanks. |

Yes, these balances come fully assembled out of the box and ready for installation. My apologies for missing the latch question; you can certainly ask it here! I'm afraid this design is not familiar to me. We might not have an exact match, but compare its dimensions to our selection here and see if you think any are similar. |

I'd be happy to set you up with a custom order for these balances, but it's important to note before we proceed that custom balances are non-refundable. As such, you may want to submit pictures of your balance so that we can confirm that it is identical. There are many, many variations that are close in design but have small differences that render them incompatible. In these cases it's better to be safe than sorry. We specifically need to see the top fitting, bottom fitting, stamp, and the metal hook at the end of the cord. I also need you to measure the length of the metal channel (ignoring the nylon fittings) and tell me its size. Lastly, how many did you need? |
