Milgard Window Balance Parts

Hi,

I am looking for a couple balance replacement parts for my Milgard single hung window. From tip to tip, it measure around 15 1/4in. What's printed on the balance is "12 2 B.S.I pp". The remaining measurements should be provided in the pictures. Can you please recommend the proper parts with your findings. Thanks.

We can definitely replace this balance, but it will have to be a special order. I'll email you a special order link and price quote right now for 2, which is our minimum. If you would like to change the quantity, let me know here in this thread and I'll be happy to do so!

Just out of curiosity, how were my balance different from what you have in stock? There's a lot of similarities among them.

If I decide to place an order and they're nonrefundable, how would I reassurance that they are a correct fit?

The biggest difference is the bottom shoe and pulley system. Your pulley system is physically built into the shoe itself, while more standard balances just have the pulley system in the metal channel. Your bottom shoe is also an entirely different shape and size than anything we have. They may seem similar, but the differences add up. Our standard balances just aren't compatible.

I am confident our recommendation will work for you. This isn't an uncommon request.

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the nylon caps on either end? These come with the balances, yes. All our balances arrive fully assembled and ready to install out of the box.

Correct. I was referring to the caps at the ends of the balance.
