Thanks for your patience during the holiday. Your balance has a bit of an odd design to me. It looks normal at first, but your bottom plastic fitting appears to have something attached to it. It's like a clip of some kind, but I've never seen that before.

Would it be possible to see that from a couple more angles? Would you also happen to know what its function is?

This picture is of a window balance.  I am not sure what the purpose of that metal piece is at the bottom.   As I try to find this replacement I am less confident it is a Milgard window part.

Wow, that is something else. It looks like someone used a glue gun to attach this metal bit to the bottom of your shoe. Why they would do this, I have no idea. Suffice to say it's highly irregular. Please give me a little more time to research and I'll get right back to you.

In the meantime, I'd like you to provide a little more data. I'd like you to tell me the precise depth of the shoe to start. Please do your best to ignore the piece glued onto it, I'm only interested in the depth of the plastic. The diagram below will show you what measurement I need.

I'd also like you to tell me how many balances you wanted to buy. If we ignore the metal bit glued on the shoe, then this very likely will be a custom assembly, so we will require a precise count.

Lastly, please verify the length of the metal channel. Based on your stamp it should be 30" long, not 31". Do not include the plastic fittings in your measurement.
