We will try our best to recommend some replacement hardware. We'd like for you to remove the part in question and attach some photos for us to see. Since you mentioned that your one part has broken, you may want and try to remove one that is still intact with no damage to give us the best chance of finding exactly what you need. Thank you.

I have a couple of Milgard double hung vinyl windows. The larger one has a problem. The brackets or shoes that hold the upper window in place (so that it doesn't just fall) have broken. They appear to be spring loaded and held in place with 2 screws. I need to replace these.

Thanks for getting back to us. It looks like this might have been our 15-180 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with our Series 190 Coil Balances. Look for stamp numbers on the springs that indicate the spring weight you need to select. If there are no numbers, or you are uncertain, weigh your window sash. Give us that exact weight and we'll work out the spring weights you need.

After a futile trip to Lowe's looking for replacement parts, and reading your message, I took the window apart again and here are the photos.
